Highlights of a very successful season
This years season turned out to be a delightful season. Lots of regular customers from years, back made arrangements early in June to be sure to get their fill. We also had a young man from Colony who is starting a winery in Olathe, Ks that faithfully picked around 500 lbs of berries. He is eager to start making Blackberry wine. One of our local Nursing homes again brought some of the residents to the patch. They brought their pic-nic lunch and made the cool morning turn into a very nostalgic occasion for them. In the cool quiet morning, some even managed to fall asleep in their chairs while picking.
